The last time I saw Steve I asked him about Sophie’s A level results he was so proud of her but very modest. Always the true gentleman. I asked about swimming techniques he replied. Get your head wet. Such a family man so proud of his daughter and Sarah. My heart is sad for all of you. You had a dad and a husband that was one of the best you lucked out. My thoughts always xx

To our dearest Uncle Steve, you showed us great kindness and always made us laugh and smile. From messing about on holiday and the long walks we shared with you to all our happy family gatherings, we will never forget you and the fun times we spent together. We will love you forever.

Steve, we were so blessed to have you as our brother-in-law and a wonderful uncle to Sam and Amelia. A warm and kind soul, always with a smile on your face. We will cherish the times we shared together - family holidays in Greece, weekends in Woolacombe, walks in the woods, Christmases and nights out. You will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
